Hi!

Yeah, I’m not dead, yet! My computer was on the blitz all last week. I rebooted it yesterday and it’s all fresh and clean! But right now I’m at school waiting for my class to start. I thought I’d pop in to say hi and let you all know I’m still here. So as soon as I get home I will start catching up on everything here. I can’t promise I’ll get to everything today but if I usually comment on your stuff I’ll be sure to do that first! I’ll go more in depth on how my life has been later this week. Hi, I’m Ashley. I’m from Georgia, a college student. But not currently look for a job 'cause I’m bumming off my parents! *pumpsfist* lol! Well I do babysit so that's my income, I guess! THE EPIC AND SPARKLY BANDOM FRIENDING MEME!

So I have a couple of things to vent about today and then a few things to share my joy about.

Vents:
• Concerts. What type of band would have a concert on a Tuesday? Especial bands like Panic at the Disco where more then half their fan base are in high school or college? It irks me because that is just what happened. Patd’s concert with Dashboard Confessional is November 4th which is on a Tuesday!! I have classes Monday – Thursday, granted that the concert may not start until after 3, which is when I get out of class, and I don’t have class Wednesday until 11am but that’s not the point. I’m never going to get to see them in concert am I? Bloody morons!!!!!
• Guys. Now I have one question to ask. Is it SO hard to lift the toilet seat or even actually pee in the damn hole? I mean for God sakes how hard is can it be?
• Friends. Do not tell me one thing and then call me back about an hour later and change you mind!!! Gah! I can’t stand that, I’m a person who has to have a set schedule and when someone come along and screws it up they well feel the wrath of Ashley!

Joys:
• Brithdays. So I’m finally getting out of my teen years come this Saturday! Yay! So with one of my friends have surgery the day before my birthday we got together yesterday and hung out. It was awesome. We went to the pool only stayed as hour before it started to rain and thunder and that good stuff, then we went back to her house and played video games and then went to eat. She got some cool stuff for my birthday, I got a bracelet made by her and it’s awesome it’s black and green, which are my favorite colors, and some soap which is also home made and it smells heavenly, I have yet to use it though, and of course some Harry Potter things! I was happy! lol
• Harry Potter. Omg! Please tell me someone else as seen the teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince? It’s so awesome! I’m so psyched to go see this movie already! It looks so amazing! If you haven’t seen it go to aol.com and find it!
• Movies. To kept this flowing, I finally saw the dark night! It was awesome as well. Though I hadn’t seen Batman begins I still liked it. I’ve seen the older Batman’s but the new ones never made it into my DVD player! Lol

Also I would to wish mwestbelle a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

First things first, I’d like to wish poseys_demise a wonderful HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Now on with the…other stuff?

So I went to the doctor today. I’ve been having hip and joint pains for awhile now. Well any ways, he said that I have inflammation around my hips. So he took x-rays and blood. Now this was the first time I’ve ever had blood taken from me. So they started in my left arm, and I found out I have small veins, and it was coming out really slow. Then another nurse came in and poked me in my right arm, it worked better, but now I’m hurting on both arms and bruised! I still can’t stretch out my left arm, I think she busted my vein, which gives me chills just to think about. So yeah, that was my day so far, I got poked!

Now as for last week I have so much to tell you! Let’s start with Tuesday. Now some of you may have remembered that I had to feed my friend’s dogs the week before, right? Well, I went Tuesday to return the key to their house and got roped in to staying there! So I stayed then me, my friend and her British boyfriend (yes, he is from England) went and got ice cream and then met another friend and raided Wal-mart an hour before they closed, there we met yet another friend. So I had a good night, didn’t get home until 12 the night but it was so worth it!

Ok, now we’ll skip to Thursday, I went to another friend’s house. She, however, lives about 30 minutes away in a swanky neighborhood where you have to have special entrance to, luckily her mom put our names down at the security’s office! Any ways, we went swimming in one of the many local swimming pools. Now I’m not a big fan of sunscreen, that maybe the reason I have so many odd tan lines, but I put some on for the sake of not being yelled out when I go home, but some how I didn’t put any on my face! Anyways, so we get back and I’m changing back into regular clothes and I notice my chest is semi burnt. Now I didn’t think much about it. We go out to eat and she take me to this coffee shop that has a really comfy atmosphere, but she takes me to this place because she said it’s were all the emo’s hang out (I get teased about being an emo by my friends a lot.) but I really didn’t see that many. Of course this statement was coming from a person who is afraid to go into Hot Topic without me! That poor poor little child. Ok to cut I long story short. I got yelled at for coming home so late, then I got yelled at for my face being burnt! I couldn’t believe it! I wanted to cry and run back to my friend’s house but no I stayed and toughed it out! So about my burnt chest, it seems that when I put sunscreen on I didn’t get low enough and when we got out of the pool my top sunk a little, because now I have two oval shapes (where the swimsuit ended and the sunscreen began) on my chest! Yay! I win at life! Lol!

Ok I think that’s all I’ve got to say, other then I babysat Saturday but we all know how that went, right? Lol

So, hi! I’m back! Yeah I know everyone’s excited! Lol. Now I know you all want to hear about my wonderful trip, correct? Alright, well I’ll do it by days. Ok?

 Sunday – so, we left about 11 that day. I rode with my brother, for those of you who don’t remember, which wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. We listened to Smodcast, which is Kevin Smith’s podcasts. They were interesting to say the least. Now for those of you who do not know who Kevin Smith is, his movies include: Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Clerks I &II, Jay and Silent Bob strike Back… and so on. So yeah, interesting guy. Anywho, we drove none stop for 4 hours. So,we arrived at around 4 that afternoon in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We checked into our cabin. Then, didn’t do much else except bought food we couldn’t bring with us and went to eat.

 Monday – my brother and I went downtown to Gatlinburg and went to Ober Gatlinburg. You have to ride a tram up the side of a mountain to get to it. Now first off, I’m not to keen on heights. So we get on and Jeremy, my brother, starts feeling nausea and light headed. So I’m like great, just perfect. It’s about a 10 minute ride up there, so the whole way he’s leaning on me and I’m trying not to collapse under the weight. I wasn’t too scared on the way up. I don’t know if it was the fact that one of us had to by in control or what. So we finally get there and we seat for a good while, he cools off and we go see the bears. These bears are huge! They’re big black bears from up there. They were gorgeous. To bad I didn’t have a camera with me. Then we went back down and I really do not like going down on any kind of ride, this is why I don’t ride roller coasters! Then did the usually thing meet up with mom and dad and went to eat supper.

 Tuesday – my brother and I went to Wonder Works. It’s a cool place. It’s kind if like a discovery place type thing. Anyways, after that we went back to the cabin to eat lunch and then we went to Dollywood. It’s a theme park, kind of like Six Flags, but more I want to say country maybe. Anyway I liked it. Dolly Parton owns it, hence the name! lol

 Wednesday – my brother and I went back to Dollywood and spent all day there. We rode a few rides dry and water ones. He rode some roller coasters while I sat out and kept his stuff. Then it rained and we went back to the cabin. We went to Hard Rock, which I always like. So many cool people work there. Our waiter’s name was Kevin. He was very sarcastic about everything with is awesome ‘cause so are we. Like we ask for some kind of drink and he’d be like “yeah? Cool. But we’re out of …” lol. But he totally kept bring my brother drinks (alcoholic ones of course) but never once refilled my sprite! I think he had I thing for my brother but don’t tell him that. Lol! It was funny. Then after that he and I walked down to Gatlinburg again to get ice cream! He told me I had to be he chaperone but I really could tell if the alcohol had any affect on him at all, that’s how weird he is without drinks! Lol.

 Thursday – so this morning I got jerked awake by mom at 7 ‘cause we had to be out of the cabin by 10. I swear if there was ever a fire she’d be the one to wake me up. She like shook my pillow violently! It scared me. So we left about 9:30 and ate breakfast there and the resort. Then it was the same on the way back. 4 hour drive straight with my brother. We got back about 4 and Jeremy called to say he left his other pair of shoes there at the cabin. Idiot! Like, what can you do about it? Go back? He can have fun with that! Lol I just got back from feeding my friend’s pets a while ago. I almost for got until I saw mine and I was like “crap, I got to get out again!” lol… oh well, they paid me $120 for doing it for three days so I’m not complaining! Lol

So as you can see, this week as been something. Ugh, now I have to go get caught up on everything I’ve missed. Don’t worry Mark your story has its on little tab for easy access! Lol

Oh, so random, but I heard that Gerard Way died today but came back to life shortly after, what was up with that? I looked on Absolutepunk.net and there was a message saying Gerard was not dead, I was like “when did he die?” totally odd.

Ok, I’m off to go read what I can before I fall asleep.

So, i'm leaving in the morning to go on vacation with my family. I'm hoping we want strangle each other. I'm riding up with my brother so i don't think that well be to bad. So, as usual leave a comment if anything happen on LJ while i'm gone. And if you know i read you stuff, leave a comment alerting me you have new material on your page. I hate that i'll have no internet access at all while i'm there but at least i'll be plenty occupied when i get back!lol

So lets do a recap of the weekend shall we! Oh look I’ll even do it in bullet points! Yay!

•Saturday – My mom and I went out to dinner and a movie, just me and her! It was cool. We had to take my car ‘because her car was in the shop. A little fyi, I hate to drive when my mother is in the car. She kills my nerves, this is the reason she didn’t teach me how to drive my dad did. Speaking of my dad. He went to a ring fighting thing. I don’t know, he got free tickets so he went. Mom and I saw WALL-E. It was so awesome. And just to put it out there I cried! I have a soft spot for robots! Any way, it was really cute! I WANT A WALL-E!!!!! oh, we went to starbucks after the movie and the guy at the window started talking about Fall Out Boy he had went to all the same concerts as I did and everything, it was awesome. He also went to the recent Honda Civic Tour with Panic at the Disco and Motion City Soundtrack, and I told him I envied him and drove off! Lol all this happen with my mom in the passenger seat lol! I’m nuts, I know!

•Sunday/Monday – after getting back from picking up mom’s car, a big storm came though and knocked out our cable. Now, when our cable gets knocked out it takes out our phone and internet too! Yep, I didn’t have internet from about 6 last night to about 10:30 this morning! Joyous! So after I’m done with this I’m probably going to finish, or at least attempt to finish, markalder’s story!

Ok so I think that’s it. That‘s my weekend. And next weekend I won’t be online because I’m going on vacation! We’re just going to Tennessee but hey, it gets us out of the state right? It’s just a four hour drive but still, not in Georgia! Lol ok, I’m off to read! Lol talk to you all soon!
